Nannette Nicholson, PhD, CCC/A
Licensed Audiologist
Nannette Nicholson was born in Colorado, grew up in Missouri, and has lived and practiced audiology in Illinois, Alabama, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Alaska, and Florida. She earned her undergraduate degree at Northwest Missouri State University, her master’s degree at Illinois State University, and her doctoral degree at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Nannette has practiced in a wide variety of clinical and academic settings including ENT offices, private practice, university clinics, hospital services, and veteran’s administration medical centers (VAMC). She has over 100 national and international presentations and publications in hearing health care. She recognizes communication as the foundation of all human relationships and is proud to offer the best technology solutions and strategies to minimize communication barriers and to maximize effective participation in communication opportunities.
Dr. Nicholson currently serves on the coordinating council for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Auditory Rehabilitation Special Interest Group. She also has training in patient and family centered care, having worked extensively with the Ida Institute. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and furry friends.
Holly Dicarlo, PSC
Patient Services Coordinator
Holly DiCarlo is a Patient Services Coordinator. Holly is originally from Wayne, NJ and moved to Pompano Beach Florida in April of 2024. Holly started working at Quality Hearing Aids in May of 2024. Holly recently began working in the hearing industry and was drawn to the position because she enjoys helping people with their hearing care needs and loves how happy people are when they realize how hearing aids can change the way they enjoy their lives. Working with the patients every day and helping them to hear as best as they should be is something Holly is very focused on. Outside of saving hearing lives, Holly loves spending time with her family and friends, doing anything outdoors and reading a good book on the beach.
